With a number of freelance music tutors, a team of office staff and a dedication to offering new and exciting learning opportunities, we are always coming up with new workshop ideas for our continuing programme of activities.
Training programme for arts-based learning practitioners
Are you a musician, filmmaker, actor or artist working in the community?
A new course for arts practitioners teaching in the community has been developed by CME and the University of East Anglia (UEA).
The Certificate of Continuing Education in Teaching through Creative Process and Practice is aimed at musicians, filmmakers, actors and artists looking to improve their skills and gain a qualification.
New summer programme
We’ve been busy delivering a wide range of music and multimedia sessions in schools, community groups and other organisations across the county and beyond. Now, in response to a demand for more ‘public access’ activity, we’ve put together a new programme of courses and tasters that are open to all.
CME wins photography competition
CME has won the the David Lloyd Photography Competition 2008 with this beautiful photo from Little Hands guitar club.
Art for All?? Conference

Ben Higham, director of CME, launched the organisation’s eye-catching and user-friendly Art for All website at a two day conference held at the end of November 2008. Both events mark the end of CME’s very successful 3-year Art for All programme, and celebrate the resulting creative products which appear as films on the website.
Rock School on Tour
Our Rock School on Tour bands had a great time at their gig on Saturday 1 November in at the Brickmakers B2 in Norwich. The young musicians formed bands at Rock Schools during the half term week, wrote their own songs and performed to an enthusiastic crowd at the Youth Music Week gig.

Stepping-stones
FREE maths and English courses and tasters are running in May for adults aged 19 or over who are in work or volunteering.
Arts Award at CME
The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people aged 11 - 25 to develop as artists and arts leaders. CME is offering Arts Awards at Bronze and Silver levels.
