CME offers multimedia and music activities for all ages and abilities. Our team of office staff and freelance tutors are dedicated to offering new and exciting learning opportunities - we are always coming up with new workshop ideas for our continuing programme of activities.

We have moved

CME has moved to the Community Workshop on Music House Lane. The new site will house our offices and many of our workshops. We will continue to run some workshops at our former home, 189 King Street.

Young people's £50K filmmaking project

A young women’s group from Dereham were the first to take part in Community Music East’s new £50,000 filmmaking project. The project has been supported by the Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light Movies initiative.
